*A MEMBER is any person who is currently employed as an attorney within the offices of a local, state, or federal prosecutor's office, any regulatory agency, or a city or county attorney's office.

**An ASSOCIATE is any individual who is a former member of any of the groups named in the membership category.  Associate members shall pay the dues established by the board and shall enjoy the rights and privileges accorded them by the NBPA Board, but shall have no right to vote or hold office, except that an associate member who was elected to office while an active member shall not be disqualified from serving out his or her term of office.  Any individual who is currently employed in any of the offices mentionedd in the member category but not an attorney is also eligible for assoicate membership.
