The Special Victims Symposium, formerly known as the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Forum, reflects the NBPA's commitment to addressing crimes that disproportionately impact vulnerable populations, particularly within the Black community. Programming focuses on a broad range of issues, including human trafficking, child abuse, elder abuse, animal cruelty, and other forms of victimization.

The NBPA hosts the nation's largest job fair for prosecutors, held in conjunction with our annual conference. This in-person Job Fair connects federal, state, and local employers with diverse candidates seeking intern, entry-level, and lateral positions. All are welcome.

Our annual conference runs completely on the dedication of volunteers. Each year, we rely on over 100 volunteers to make the conference run smoothly. Volunteers assist with everything from running the registration desk, to hosting speakers and presenters, to assisting the conference committee with special events throughout the week.
